Yoga
At Hindavi, students are taught Yoga to help them relax and stay fit. Yoga helps them develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Yoga has also been shown to help the hyperactive and attention-deficit child. These children crave movement and sensory/motor stimulus. Yoga helps channel these impulses in a positive way.
Karate
Hindavi School offers karate - tae kwon do classes to students. It stresses discipline, focus, balance, flexibility and respect . School believes that martial arts helps in developing not just self-defence but also discipline, honour, and a strong sense of character development that can be transferred to other areas of life.
Dance And Music
We move in at primary and secondary schools at flexible hours. We teach students different dance styles at part of extracurricular activities. During these classes, students are offered Musical Dance. The courses are structured according to the age of the students, we make sure the level is appropriate so that everyone can have fun in class while learning to move their bodies!
The goal of these classes is to get the students moving while having fun.
All Type of Sports
Sports at Hindavi are an integral part of the curriculum for physical fitness, character building and development of leader ship qualities .confirming the reputation as one of the best sporting institutes in the state.
Indoor facilities like caroms, chess, table tennis, badminton, are also maintained
Facilities
Labs
The school has separate spacious, well furnished and full fledged Computer, Science, Math labs working under the guidance of the concerned teachers of the Departments. Experiments are done in our labs by the students of nearby school also prior to their public practicals. All departments are guided by the HOD's under the control of the Principal.
Maths Lab
It is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematics concepts and verify various mathematical facts and theorems using variety of activities and it is well equipped with necessary kits and tools. It provides an opportunity to the students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations. It provides greater scope for individual participation in the process of learning and becoming autonomous learners.
Science Lab
The School has well equipped laboratories For Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. Every year latest instruments, specimens, charts etc. are purchased for these laboratories.
Computer Lab
Well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. Pre - primary kids learn words through PowerPoint presentations and innovative software.
Library
The library provides many children with their first chance to use and enjoy a library. The school library is a welcoming place for study and reading. The school library is to support the students and teachers by providing access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources. It is also to ensure that all the students, teachers and staff are effectively using the ideas and information. The library encourages the love of reading and development of student?s independent learning skills.
